On 28th July Stratford-upon-Avon RDA welcomed visitors from Kineton Manor Nursing Home to watch a riding lesson, enjoy an afternoon tea and meet one of our ponies. Joan, Anne and Nigel were delighted with the beautiful setting in our paddock to watch Jo riding Diesel around a course. At the same time enjoying the delicious cakes and biscuits supplied by our volunteers. Our visitors them met our pony, Jessie, which everyone, including Jessie, enjoyed immensely.
Anne remembered her own pony, Wendy, that she had as a child and Nick, a volunteer helper with Kineton Manor told us an interesting story about his one and only horse ride while on holiday. The afternoon ended with huge smiles with our visitors taking home a rosette each as a reminder of their Tea with a Pony. Thank you to Hilary, Marie and Nick for your time bringing Anne, Joan and Nigel to visit.
