We are always looking for reliable people with a big smile who are prepared to give up some of their time to support people who have special needs.

Volunteering might include being a leader or side walker during riding classes or helping with fundraising or general administration. Experience with horses is great but not essential, there is always the opportunity to learn. We will provide you with the training you will need to be able to help us.

RDA takes an interest in training its young volunteers and is an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh award, therefore opportunities are offered to young people to undertake the volunteering section of DofE together with the Young Equestrian Leader Award and Pony Club Badges.

Why do you volunteer?  Please watch this short video that has been released by RDA National following a competition run by the Guardian.  RDA Volunteer video
