This week is Volunteers Week and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all our volunteers who are continuing to support us.
276 activities have been delivered since we re-started in June last year. A huge achievement, only made possible by our dedicated and committed helpers.
As we extended activities, we’ve welcomed back more volunteers, who have been introduced to the Covid protocols & undertaken refresher training in leading and sidewalking. Once again our volunteers have recently adapted to changes in social distancing restrictions, enabling most of our riders to return to the saddle. Wearing a mask, keeping social distance and re-familiarisation with the ponies takes time and practice to perfect.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our Group and we really cannot thank them enough for all the effort and resilience they have given and shown this past year looking after our ponies and helping our riders. You are all amazing!
