Whether it’s learning new skills, or connecting with others through a passion for horses, we’re proud to share recent activities at Stratford RDA. It’s always special to recognise our participants’ achievements, as they learn new riding skills & develop partnerships with their ponies. Our recent volunteer tea party was an opportunity to get-together, chat … and of course eat cake. Our volunteers are the power behind everything we do. Whether it’s turning up early to “beat the heat” (you may remember the two week heatwave in May!) or staying on to help turn out ponies. Nothing is too much trouble. It was a privilege to support Christine to realise her “wish to ride”, taking her back to days spent on her grandfather’s farm in Ireland, surrounded by animals. Diesel was a star & Christine adored him. Her smile & enthusiasm was infectious…. another special SRDA occasion!
