Donations & Fundraising

As an entirely self-financing voluntary organisation, the Stratford-upon-Avon Group owes its continuing existence to the generosity of sponsors and to charitable donors.

Activities involving horses are expensive & we are continually having to find ways to keep up with increasing costs. Here are some ways you can help.

SPONSORSHIP

Many of our supporters contribute to our rider sponsorship scheme. £150 a year goes towards the costs for a rider & sponsors receive regular Newsletters & photos of their sponsored rider. A great way to keep in touch with the Groups activities & riders achievements.

DONATIONS

One-off or regular donations can pay for:
  • Riding school facilities for a month @ £120
  • An event or outing @ £100+
  • Contributions towards a new horse/pony
Collect printer cartridges and old mobile phones (collection bags available)
  • An inkjet cartridge can be exchanged for a donation of £1
  • A mobile phone can be exchanged for a donation up to £25
Donating of equipment or services. Here are just a few examples
  • Equestrian equipment
  • Riders equipment
  • Balls, hoops, stands, etc
  • Stationary
  • Printing
Help organise a charity event for us
  • We are always looking for volunteers to help with fund raising. We have no exams for tin-rattling or helping at fund raising events!!! Recent events we have been involved with include a concert, fashion show, race day, local fair, sponsored run/cycle/walk.
Spread the word!
  • You may know someone or have contacts that would be willing to make a donation, sponsor a rider or special event.

If you can support us in any way, please contact us.

Note : GiftAid may be applicable to your donations. We ask that you notify us if a UK tax payer and you are willing to give us the GiftAid contribution as well. Many thanks.

WEBSITE SUPPORTED FUNDRAISING

Due to cost associated with web supported fundraising, we have decided to remove this option. We still need your fundraising support and we would encourage you to contact us via email or phone. You can of course also do your own fundraising and then make your donations directly to our bank account.
